Harrison, NY - Jonathan Kaye eagled the first playoff hole to knock off John Rollins and win the Buick Classic at Westchester Country Club. Kaye and Rollins each shot four-under 67 Sunday to finish 72 holes tied at 13- under-par 271.

Kaye, who became the third first-time winner on the PGA Tour this season, birdied the 18th hole to tie Rollins at minus-13 and force the playoff. Rollins had birdied each of the last two holes to finish at 13-under.

The two men, who shared the lead after three rounds with two others, returned to the 18th tee for the first and only extra hole. Kaye bombed his drive right down the middle while Rollins pulled his drive into the trees on the left side. Rollins was able to fix his lie as the ball plugged.

"I hit probably the worst tee shot all day for me on 18, and pulled it into the right rough," said Rollins. "I just kind of put myself behind the eight ball off the tee. I tried to give it a run for birdie and hit a good putt and it didn't go in."

Rollins knocked his second shot down the fairway. Kaye on the other hand ripped his second shot from 251 yards out onto the fringe about 18 feet from the cup.
