Marcus Denmon - NCAA Prediction: Iowa State Cyclones and Missouri Tigers

No. 8 Missouri Tigers, coming off a pair of tough losses, hosts surging Iowa State Cyclones in what has become a battle for second place in the Big 12.

The Tigers squandered a 19-point second half lead at No. 4 Kansas last weekend and lost 87-86 in overtime. Iowa State, tied with Baylor for third place, has won three in a row and six of eight.

The Cyclones are coming off an impressive win at Kansas State and have pulled within a game of the Missouri in the standings. Missouri won 76-69 at Iowa State in early January.
